Beth’s Blocks

Elisabeth Rhyne is an artist working in Arlington, Virginia. A relatively new artist, her work has been shown in a variety of exhibitions in Arlington and the Washington, DC area.

She creates monoprints by hand-carving rubber stamps and printing them in combinations using block printing inks. The images she develops are often playful or ironic.

To create scarves, tote bags and tableware, Elisabeth uploads her surface designs to Spoonflower, where they are commercially printed. She then cuts and sews the final product.
